BAD AIRBNB REVIEWS – 14 MOST Annoying Reviews!

For a long time we haven’t published an article related to Airbnb reviews, but for this one… boy we had the motivation. You wanted bad airbnb reviews? Brace yourselves for the 14 most annoying guest reviews ever!

Last year we had a guest that was surprisingly difficult to please, he complained about everything and even made us feel like that we were to blame for him being sick with high fever and not being able to explore our city.

So, as expected, he was the first guest to give us bad review ever. Not so much bad, but rather annoying. That kind of review that will give you an awkward feeling, leave you angry for a long time and make you wish that you never hosted this guest. His review was exaggerated and just unfair…

Well, the anger passed, we hosted of course other guests that were lovely and amazing. However, we still continued to follow his travels and his other Airbnb experiences virtually.

By reading his consequent bad airbnb reviews after he left our place, we realized that he wasn’t unfair and overly critical only to us. He is just one of those unappreciative people that no matter how much you do for them they always find something to complain about, not realizing the damage they do to the hosts’.

We do believe that people like this guest really should not be in the AirBnB community, and they are better suited in hotel environment.

01. I enjoyed this property a lot, and the apartment a BIT LESS. This is a full private basement apartment on a small farm. Perfect for getting away. It could have been a bit cleaner (under furniture), and maybe organized in a way that puts the head of the bed against a WALL. It has a hot plate for light cooking. The host is nice and I like supporting families that live on farms.

– Why would you book a place where your head wont be positioned as you desire and then comment about it? Just don’t book, check the pictures and complain if they give you something else!

02. This is like a small 3-room hostel without a living space. The bed was comfortable and wifi worked. Parking was right out front. They are still putting on the finishing touches. When I asked if there was a fan to cool the room, they immediately went out and bought one. They could use some trash cans. I really appreciate their effort, but I didn’t really enjoy staying here. There is a kitchen, but no living space. It feels like a hostel, not a home. The hosts are great and work very hard to make this space work well, but I think one room would be better as a living space instead of 3 bedrooms.

03. I appreciate (GN) and his kindness and assistance, but I don’t feel comfortable staying in a place where someone is sleeping on a bed in the front room. I feel the apartment is overcrowded. I was never sure who was staying there, so I wasn’t sure of how secure my belongings were (no door lock on the room). The bed was very small. wifi was good. parking was easy.

04. This is basically more of a hostel than an apartment, but it is a decent place. The mattress was worn in the middle and needs replacing, so I slept poorly. The common space is large and could be nice for a group to stay. It is located on the main road through town, which was a bit noisy for me. If the host replaces the mattress, it’s worth giving the place a chance.

05. Tomasz’s place was outstanding. Highest quality, modern, and beautiful. I think the bed could use some more padding. I only met Joanne, and she was an excellent hostess. I would highly recommend staying here.

06. (GN) was very friendly and his apartment is very clean, uncluttered, and organized. Even though it is a wonderfully diverse neighborhood, I didn’t enjoy the area. It was a little too close to the highway and a bit unsettling. But (GN) and his apartment are excellent and provided everything I needed.

07. (GN) and his roommate were very friendly, but I didn’t enjoy the accommodations. The sofa bed is in the front room/kitchen, and I didn’t find it comfortable, even with added blankets for padding. The listing says Private Room, which (GN) is willing to honor, but I felt like I was putting him out by not giving him access to his own kitchen and front room.

08. I don’t think this qualifies as an Entire Serviced Apartment. Bathroom is shared and there is no cooking option, oven, stove, or cooking utensils. The room is clean and bright, but very small. Outside noises in the hallway (where the bathroom is) and outside the main door are very loud. Anyone coming or going at night was disturbing for me, even with earplugs in. The apartment is within walking distance to a nice downtown area and grocery store. It is clean and new. I did not like the sterile lighting and the bed light is not useful with it’s invasive positioning. Parking was easy and right across from the apartment.

There is an amazing response to this one. The host is saying that the guest arrived on King’s Night in Amsterdam, Netherlands and that is the loudest and busiest day of the year. Not just tourists, but also locals are flooding the streets for a long party time, so it is more than normal that it is going to be loud when everybody is going home late in the night.

We also checked the listing and it is clearly stating that is only one room, nothing more, nothing less.

09. Basement apartment on lovely property. Comfortable bed, hot shower. I had allergies so it seems it may have been a little dusty, but in Juan’s defense, I booked last-minute and he quickly had the apartment cleaned and accommodated me. That was very generous of him. There is no kitchen or dishes, silverware, etc. Breakfast was made, which is a nice touch. Safe, private parking on the property behind gate and walls.

10. Very roomy studio with 3 beds and a large kitchen. Hot water works all the time and is quick to respond. It think it’s dusty because I’ve been sneezing a bit, and the queen bed is a little thin. The distance is good if you like to walk off your meals on the way home from downtown. I like that.

11. Full-time hot water. The lighting in the living space is a little too harsh for me.

12. (GN) was very nice. No question about that. And the apartment is nice, but I don’t think the value is good. The building is not nice. The shower takes about 40 min. to warm up, so when I was told 20 min, it really feels like saving money is more important than the guests experience. For the price, hot water shouldn’t be a problem. The shower situation is difficult. Maybe Greeks to it differently than Americans, but we would never have a shower without a place to hang the shower head. You have to hold the nozzle with one hand or set it on the faucet. Maybe it’s a cultural difference. Also, no soap dish in the shower, and the shower is really too small to bend over to pick up the soap all the time. There must be an explanation for this system that I don’t know.

13. (GN) place is an excellent value. The bed is soft, which I like, and WiFi was good. Clean and bright. The toilet seat and kitchen are difficult to use, but this studio is a great value!
