We had blackmailing once by an Israeli couple. They said that the apartmant doesn’t give them positive vibes and that they made a mistake by booking it. We got angry, gave them the full amount in cash (they needed to cancel in front of us) and sent them off.

01. First the place was a mess, I am talking about the whole place. Second they were people (like 6 ) who were partying for the whole night and smoking weed and the whole place was smelling like a smoke Bar.the TV was on for the whole night,my sister and I cannot even close our eyes,there is not batteries in the smoke Alarm,the noise was disgusting,no Air conditioner,we were sweating,No closet.dirty sheets I means (Website hidden by Airbnb) shampoo,trash everywhere even in the walking shower.We can’t even take a shower.there is a bed bug on the bed, and sofa is ripped.we locked ourselves in because we were scared to go to the living room,this place is no go at all,can’t recommend this place to my enemies.

  • RESPONSE: I’m sorry that you had a bad stay. You should have contacted me and told me the other guest were partying, that’s why the place was messy when you arrived. I have no control over the condition the apartment is in after guest check in, especially if it isn’t brought to my attention. Partying is against our house rules. Also, the guest who were in the other room during your stay removed the batteries from the smoke detector so they could smoke; smoking is also against our house rules. An Airbnb is like a hotel in a sense, if there’s something wrong with the room and you never notify the hotel, how could we fix the issue? A bed bug, cmon now, let’s not get carried away. The couch was ripped by the guest you’re speaking of. A new house has been purchased, there are now portable AC units in every bedroom, a main AC in the living room and TVs are being installed in all of the bedrooms this coming week.

02. No fan or AC in the rooms, uncomfortable beds & pillow. If you’re using AT&T don’t bother going there because you won’t get any network for calls unless WiFi only.

  • RESPONSE: There are now AC’s in every bedrooms. There were already fans in the rooms. The white square cubes on the dressers are portable fans. We have WiFi, it’s attached to your check in information

03. You need to go through a shared kitchen to access the shower or bathroom. The “studio” experience did not feel private as there are people moving through the shared space and a lot of noise from downstairs bar and upstairs tenants.

05. We enjoyed our stay in (Host name) apartment. It was nice having an independent kitchen and a large balcony. (Host name) was there to welcome us, and the communication was fluid. Our only problem was the size of the beds. If you are two adults or a family with two children, we would highly recommend his place. However, if you are three or four adults, the sofa beds are a bit too small. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!

  • RESPONSE: I agree with all except one thing. From the first day this wrote in remark.. The apartment has two beds (190 x 105 cm). Apartment is ideal for two people, good for a family with two kids. Accuracy rating 3 is not real. Generally, please read apartment descriptions before you book one. Thank you

06. (HOST NAME) was very nice. No question about that. And the apartment is nice, but I don’t think the value is good. The building is not nice. The shower takes about 40 min. to warm up, so when I was told 20 min, it really feels like saving money is more important than the guests experience. For the price, hot water shouldn’t be a problem. The shower situation is difficult. Maybe Greeks to it differently than Americans, but we would never have a shower without a place to hang the shower head. You have to hold the nozzle with one hand or set it on the faucet. Maybe it’s a cultural difference. Also, no soap dish in the shower. and the shower is really too small to bend over to pick up the soap all the time. There must be an explanation for this system that I don’t know.

  • RESPONSE: Maybe you are little upset because you ask discount 30euro from 108e that you have to pay for 3days.!! We take 103 euro and from that we have to pay for the cleaning, and 20% taxes to Greece so the price is was very good and we think that you could not find anything else so good to stay in the centre with that price otherwise you choose that. The most bilding in centre corfu are old but the flat it is totally renovated!!! You ask for a hang in the shower becouse you can’t shower yourself ??ok! And we had shampoo(white blue) Shower cream (the red one) As for the adresse is in the site with a map and i sent you an EXTRA photo to find no difficult and we said at 17.20 to meet you for the key , and we was there on TIME ! We Think that you search a lot to find something to say because you didn’t take the discount!:-) Have a good day

07. Parking is a problem but the house was lovely and we really loved the bohemian quarter.

  • RESPONSE: Parking is never a problem for guests who read the listing description. As it is stated, we do offer private parking in the underground garage, exactly in the same building where the apartment is located. Nowhere in the communication was mentioned by the guest that they would be arriving by car or that they’ll be needing parking

08. I don’t think the title “5-star apartment” is exactly accurate. It’s a nice apartment but you can feel the bed springs poking through. I recommend putting a folded up blanket on the mattress. There are no soft surfaces to relax on. Even the couch has a thin pad that is uncomfortable. They should really start cleaning under bed also. It is stylish and modern. I stayed for a week and we sick most of the time so a soft surface would have been nice. Even with all of this I would still consider staying there again, if the price was agreeable.

We wish you would have addressed the ‘soft surface issue’ with us during your stay as we could have easily solved that with extra soft blankets and memory foam layer. We think that every person is different and has unique sleeping preferences and we never had a complaint before about the bed or the sofa. However, we understand that when you’re sick and forced to stay in bed for an entire week you might have different needs. We love hosting and making sure our guests have wonderful experiences and that is why we were sad to read your review. 09. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and everything was in good condition. We had four adults staying and two of us shared a bed. Hosts were very friendly and willing to chat. Two main critiques: TV and internet were super slow, meaning that we were not able to watch a movie or show as listed on the posting; and since there is no external entrance to the room, we had to communicate with the hosts about when we were returning. If we needed to come back to the house after 11pm, I’m not sure how that would have happened as we had no way of getting in unless the hosts were available to let us in. Overall, it was a clean, comfortable place to stay for a quick trip, but just be prepared to communicate closely about your plans whenever you need to come back to the airbnb.

  • RESPONSE: I am sorry that you had difficulty loading the movies and coming in and out of the house. We are very flexible in guests coming late in the night. If they let us know that they will be late when they are leaving we have a provision for that too. We give them the garage door opener and they are able to come as late as they want. For the internet, If you would have communicated with us about it being slow we would have gladly looked into that for you and resolved the problem.

A few things of note – it does not have air conditioning, so if you like a cool room, this may not be the place for you (opening the windows helped a bit, but there are no screens and we were concerned about bugs). We were a bit warm, but not terribly uncomfortable. It is super walkable to most of the areas of interest (though be prepared for some BIG hills). We really enjoyed our stay, and would recommend it to anyone.
