1. Review of A Star is Born

  • A Star is Born is a must-see for any and all music lovers – whether you’re a fan of Lady Gaga, Bradley Cooper, or both! I was absolutely moved by the emotional performances of both leads and had a full range of reactions and feelings during the movie. Both musicians portray their characters with such emotion and artistry that I felt like I was right there experiencing it with them. The music is absolutely incredible and each musical performance was more beautiful than the last. The supporting cast and additional musical performances only enhance the overall feel of the movie, while adding more depth to the storyline. This movie is a masterpiece from start to finish and I urge anyone and everyone to go see it in the theatre!

2. Review of Little Women

  • Little Women is an absolute masterpiece–it’s an exquisitely crafted adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel, with exceptional performances from the entire cast. Saoirse Ronan shines, as does every other actress in the film. The cinematography is outstanding, and the script, direction and pacing are flawless. Every scene has so much depth and emotion that it’s hard to tear your eyes away from the screen. Little Women is a touching, heartwarming gem of a film, and one that will stay with you long after you step out of the theatre.

3. Review of Bohemian Rhapsody

  • “Bohemian Rhapsody is a must-see for any fan of Queen, or any music fan in general. From the electrifying opening chords of “We Will Rock You” to the final heartbreaking note of “Bohemian Rhapsody”, you can’t help but be mesmerized. Rami Malek is outstanding as Freddie Mercury, delivering an impeccable performance that’s simultaneously heartbreaking and inspiring. The supporting cast is also excellent, particularly Mike Myers as Ray Foster, who provides a level of comic relief in an otherwise drama-filled plot. The music, of course, is outstanding, and the mix of classic hits and rarely heard gems keeps the movie buzzing with energy. If you’re looking for a movie that’s equal parts inspiring, tragic, and musically superb, I highly recommend seeing Bohemian Rhapsody in theaters now!”

4. Review of Parasite

“Parasite is an instant classic that deserves to be seen by everyone. Director Bong Joon Ho cements himself among the greats of film history with this masterwork of narrative and style. It’s a brilliantly constructed film that goes much deeper than a black comedy. It’s a brilliantly open-ended study of class and social structure in South Korea through the lens of a unique family that will stay with you long after you leave the theater. The performances of the entire cast are superb. It’s a movie that will make you laugh, cry, and think deeply – in all the best ways. Absolutely do not miss it!”

5. Review of Avengers: Endgame

  • “Avengers: Endgame is a fitting conclusion to the MCU’s 22-film journey. It’s a massive crowdpleaser that honors the fans and pays plenty of fan service. The movie starts off with a darker tone, but quickly learns to embrace the fun of its characters and brings an emotional satisfaction to its conclusion. It’s spectacular from start to finish. It’s filled with surprises, knockout action scenes, and plenty of memorable interactions between some of the best heroes of the MCU. While it may not stand as the greatest MCU movie, it’s a fitting tribute to the decade-long journey and definitely earns its place as one of the greatest films of the series.”
