Best way to pay for Tolls and Ferries in Norway (2022)

Welcome campers! I won’t start with a long useless blog intro for better SEO, but go directly to the point. I figured out finally the best way to pay for tolls and ferries in Norway.

I asked the question on YouTube, but no luck so I kept on digging the net.

So, after searching I ended up with the best and easies solution.

Best way to pay for Tolls and Ferries in Norway (2022)

You will need to create an agreement with ØresundPA, where you can chose the way you want to pay. By license plate or Bizz (tag). If you plan to drive Norway, you will have to order the Bizz to your home address.

The website is super simple and easy to use, so you can go wrong.

Of course, I ended up again asking questions, just to be on the safe side. This is my email to the customer service and their response.

So, with the Bizz, you can drive and use ferries almost all around Norway, since there are some private roads for which you pay differently and I noticed that one ferry that is on my map is not part of autopassferje.no and for it you pay at the spot.

Using ferries in Norway

For the ferries, you will need to create an agreement with autopassferje.no and get 50% off on many ferry crossings. This is a money saver!

I still am not sure if the Bizz is connected with autopassferje.no, since I am in the middle of making the agreement. My problem is that my license is from a country that is not listed in their system. So I am waiting for their answer.

For those of you how are in the middle of planning your road trip, on this link you can see all the ferry prices, with or without discount.
